I am an Italian Ph.D. student at the eXascale Infolab (XI) of the University of Fribourg. My research interests include data science, the Semantic Web, and Information Retrieval. I am particularly interested in building and using knowledge graphs to help users satisfying their information needs, performing transactional tasks, and providing them with serendipitous information about the content they are consuming.
While at XI I’ve also done some interesting non-academic experiences, including visiting Yahoo! Labs in Barcelona for a few months, and an internship at Swisscom AG.
Before joining XI, I obtained both bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Udine, in Italy. I also spent few months at the Universidad de Murcia, in Spain, to work on my Master’s project.
