Bio

I am a PhD student at eXascale Infolab/University of Fribourg since September 2018 and, I work on detecting significant news events using Social media. I completed my Master’s in Computer Science from TU, Kaiserslautern (Germany) with specialization in Intelligent Systems. For my Master’s thesis, I worked on Social network analysis techniques for academic Communities. As part of a DFG funded project, LOC-DB I also worked on extraction of structured textual information from bibliographical document images using Deep learning.
